Robin Saunders

With over 25 years of experience in both residential and commercial real estate, Robin represents both buyers and sellers in the San Antonio, Fair Oaks Ranch and Boerne areas and is a multimillion dollar producer.  “I try hard to be a good listener and want my clients to know I truly care about them.” Robin’s top production and community service has earned her the prestigious designation of Platinum Top 50 Winner.  Her experience and expertise have earned her the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS) designations.  Robin has also served on the Keller Williams Agent Leadership Council (ALC).


Robin recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and is active in supporting a variety of charitable organizations including Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries, Kendall County Women’s Shelter, RED, Young Life and served on the board of an El Salvador Charity; Fundacion Suenos.  She has participated in the Boerne Chamber of Commerce, Mom’s In Prayer, PTO, various Bible Studies and ministries at Oak Hills Church including coordination of the Family Milestones and AGAPE TRAIL® program. 

Robin lives in Fair Oaks Ranch, with her husband David.  Oldest son Zach was a former Boerne LeaderSteps participant and is now starting his sophomore year at Texas A&M.  Youngest son, Jake, will be a senior graduating from Boerne Champion with the class of 2016.


Denise Ellis

Denise Ellis is a graduate of Texas A&M University with Business degrees in Accounting and Finance.  She spent the first ten years of her adult life working in public accounting, where she specialized in financial institution and employee benefit plan audits.  The next dozen years were spent raising her two daughters and using her accounting, business, and parenting skills to assist a variety of not-for-profit organizations, including many of the schools and churches where she and her family attended.  In recent years, Denise returned to the work force outside the home and currently heads up the accounting department at Camden Commercial Properties, LLC, a full-service real estate development and management company in San Antonio, Texas that she and her husband, Bill, started in 2010.  Denise and Bill are also investors and operating partners in Local Coffee Enterprises, LLC, which owns and operates multiple retail coffee shops and a coffee roasting facility in San Antonio.  In addition to all things coffee, Denise enjoys gardening, spending time with her family and watching movies.

Susan Allen Shipp

Susan Allen Shipp is currently with CenturyLink Technology Solutions and is running a Channel & Alliance Marketing Program.  She was previously employed at Rackspace in their Marketing Department.  She has over 25+ years in a variety of sales and marketing roles in the high-tech industry with companies like MCI, Verizon Business and VeriSign. Susan attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters of Science in Communication/Human Relations.  She's been involved in many volunteering activities through the years including Founding Board Member of Boerne Junior Cotillion, The Junior League of Houston and various school and church programs.  Susan lives in Fair Oaks Ranch with her husband, David; son Sam, who was a previous Leadersteps participant and a 2012 graduate of Boerne Champion High School, is entering his senior year at the University of Arkansas where he is in the school of architecture; and Charlie attends Boerne Champion High School – Class of 2016.

Ben Zimmerman

Originally from Cuero, Texas, Ben Zimmerman and his wife, Samantha, moved to Boerne from San Antonio in July of 2013. Ben is a local attorney and business owner, currently serving as the Managing Partner of The Zimmerman Firm, PLLC. Prior to opening The Zimmerman Firm, Ben served as General Counsel for Kalypso L.P., a Boerne based business management consulting firm. Ben earned a B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

 With a heart for service and leadership, Ben has served in many leadership capacities, including as Chairman of the Board of Advocates for St. Mary’s University School of Law, a youth group leader, and a Boerne YMCA youth basketball coach.
 
In his spare time, Ben enjoys playing intramural sports, coaching, fishing, country dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Angie Lemmons
 
Angie Lemmons has an accounting background and an MBA from Texas A&M University.  After working for many years in various public and corporate accounting positions, Angie retired and turned her attention to raising her daughters and volunteering.  Over the past 10 years, she has served as an officer of numerous non-profit organizations such as the Boerne Education Foundation, Champion High School PTO, Boerne Middle School South PTO, and the Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation. 


Angie lives in the Boerne area with her husband and three daughters.  The oldest, Hayley, is a graduate of Texas A&M and works for Deloitte in Dallas.  Her middle daughter, Kelsey, currently attends Texas A&M in the Business Honors program.  Both girls benefited greatly from their participation in the LeaderSteps program during their senior year at Champion High School.  Her youngest daughter, Avery, is a junior at Champion.



Bryan D'Spain


Bryan was raised in Boerne and graduated from Boerne High School and went on to earn a Bachelor degree from UTSA in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University.  He currently employed with Broadway National Bank as a Senior Vice President/District Manager overseeing 15 banking centers in San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. Bryan's wife, Ashlie, is a counselor at Boerne High School and they have two children, John and Sarah, who represent the sixth generation of their family in Kendall County.  He is President of Sam's Kids, Committee Member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 18 and Boerne Chamber of Commerce Leadership Boerne, a member of the Centurions of Kendall County, and active in St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.  He is also a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Boerne.  Their hobbies include hunting, snow skiing, any kind of travel, and watching John and Sarah on the tennis and volleyball courts as much as possible.




Jenya "J" Semenov


Jenya Semenov or simply J. has founded LEADERSHIP UNchained after almost 20 years of training, coaching and developing influential leaders. He grew up behind the “iron wall” of the Soviet Union in a family of coaches and has worked with over a dozen global organizations at all levels of management. His peers and clients call him “coach-J” for the impact he has left in 8 different market segments all around the world. J.Semenov is a master integrator and team builder. He has a master’s degree in International Business Development and Economics which he earned in Russia.

Throughout his career Jenya has developed a number of effective strategies that have helped organizations building and irresistible culture and helped over 2,000 professionals find internal motivators to raise their influence and value.

Jenya resides in Boerne, TX with his beautiful wife Karly and three future leaders Aleksei (10), Josiah (7) and Dasha (5). He is actively involved in Oak Hills Church and Boerne community. Jenya speaks to organizations on team-building and ways to effectively engage their biggest asset – people. He writes a blog on LinkedIn focusing on leadership through influence, communication and teamwork. 



Todd M. Schneider


Todd is a San Antonio native who graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and The University of Texas San Antonio with a Master of Business Administration. His banking career began at a San Antonio based bank in 1998 with a focus on sales, service, and training. He transitioned to a mortgage career in 2004 as a registered loan officer followed by mortgage banker in 2007. Todd joined Jefferson Bank as a mortgage originator in 2011 and has repeatedly earned a spot on the San Antonio Business Journal’s list of Top 25 Residential Mortgage Lenders since 2013. 


Todd’s wife, Ashley, works in the marketing and communications field, and they are blessed with two wonderful children.   Being involved in the community and his kid’s activities are important to Todd as he has volunteered for organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America, Junior Achievement, YMCA, CYO, his HOA board, Rotary International, and the Boerne Chamber of Commerce. Todd enjoys many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and swimming as well as going to the beach and spending time with his family. 



Becky Welch

Becky Welch moved from San Antonio to Boerne in 2006 with her husband Boyd and their 3 children - Jack (2017 BHS Graduate and LeaderSteps participant), Ben (Sophomore,  BHS) and Tatum (4th Grade, Fabra).  Becky has served as President on the PTO boards at Fabra, BMSN and is current Co-President at BHS with another LeaderSteps board member, Amy Story.  She just ended a 3 year term as the Greyhound Athletic Booster Club Treasurer and also a 3 year term on the Boerne Education Foundation including a Board Position as Secretary.  She is also one of the founding members of the local philanthropic group HCW 100+ (Hill Country Women Who Care) which donates over $10,000 per quarter to a local cause in our community.  She is currently employed at Austin-based Waldo Photos and has enjoyed being part of this start-up company from the ground up.


Amy Story


Amy graduated with a BBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Texas and also received a J.D. from the University of Texas.  She worked as an attorney practicing in the insurance defense and toxic tort litigation divisions.  After taking time to volunteer in the community with organizations such as the Junior League of Houston, the Boerne Education Foundation, Boerne Panhellenic Alumnae, numerous PTO roles at schools in Houston and Boerne, she resumed her career this past year at the Boerne Kendall County Economic Development Corporation coordinating the marketing efforts of the BKCEDC.
